Even Pain Has Purpose
Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.” ‘ John 9v1-3
This verse is one of the ones that I share often when talking about people born different to what we consider the norm. It is a brilliant, BRILLIANT example of why it is so important to thank God for every blessing, no matter in what form it is given… because so often we realise that what we thought was a hardship, is truly a blessing that has been mis-labelled. (indulge me as I ramble a bit…)
& always the works of God revealed.
Even hardship has its beauty. Even pain has purpose.
Father God, I PRAISE YOU for the times of difficulty we have gone through and in many ways still are, I THANK YOU for all you have taught and allowed us to learn as we stretch our faith and our trust in You through hardship.
If our eyes are on the One who made us, just like when I hold my daughter if she is upset or has hurt herself, there is comfort.
